The Dallas Center-Grimes sports complex, located on the north side of the high school was completed in the fall of 2006. It features an 8-lane, all-weather running surface, a natural grass field and seating for 3500 fans and visitors. The press box has four coaches and media rooms and a large center room for game-day media and staff.
The Mustang Statue located on the south end of the football field was dedicated on September 13, 2007, in honor of fallen Mustang teammate Alex Bowersox.
